The brilliant Blood Wizard (aka Cai Burns) released his debut album Grinning William on Friday, alongside a final video for its title-track. Joining previous List Picks 'Babytooth', 'Big Fish' and 'Back2bed' on the LP, 'Grinning William' is a melancholy duet set over blown out guitars. Imbued with a playful nursery rhyme feel, it's one of the catchiest and most emotive tracks on the record, as accomplished melodies and pure-of-heart lyrics combine. Leaning in to the darkness and light explored in the song, the self-directed video is the perfect accompaniment, shot by Adrian Vitelleschi Cook.
